A local AI interview copilot that never ships your voice to a server.
Most interview copilots stream your audio to the cloud. SideSense does not. Audio and transcripts are processed on your own machine, so your resume, your questions, and your voice stay with you.
Local-first is not a setting. It is the design.
Cloud copilots record you, send that audio to their servers, and keep transcripts you cannot see. That is a privacy risk and, as the industry has learned the hard way, a breach risk. When a competitor leaked tens of thousands of user records, every one of those users found out that convenience had a cost.
SideSense processes your session on your Windows machine. You can run models fully offline with Ollama at no cost, so nothing touches the network at all. If you prefer a hosted model, you bring your own key and talk to that provider directly. We are never in the middle.
Private does not mean stripped down.
You still get real-time answer drafts from your resume, scored mock interviews, a question bank that auto-answers, and one growth graph across everything. Local processing is the foundation, not a limitation.
Nothing recorded, nothing stored, nothing to leak.
SideSense does not save your interview audio to a server, because there is no server holding it. That is the honest version of privacy: not a promise to protect your data, but an architecture where we never receive it.
Questions, answered.
What does local-first actually mean here?
It means the audio capture, transcription, and answer drafting happen on your own computer. With Ollama the whole thing runs offline. With your own key, only your chosen model provider sees the prompt, never us.
Do I need an API key to use it?
No. Install Ollama and run models offline at no cost. If you would rather use a hosted model, plug in your own key from any provider you like.
Is my data private?
Yes. Audio and transcripts are processed on your own machine. Run fully offline with Ollama, or bring your own model key. Nothing is uploaded to our servers and nothing is stored there.
What does it cost?
It is free while we are in early access. Paid Pro and Teams plans come later, and early-access users hear first. There are no metered credits to keep topping up.
Your interview is yours. Keep it that way.
Local-first by design. Free while in early access.
