These are the plain-language terms for SideSense Pro, a product by KGP Talkie. No legalese if we can help it. By using the app or this website, you're agreeing to the version below.
Where things stand today
SideSense Pro is in final testing and not yet publicly available. Nothing on this site is a completed sale. Pricing shown on the pricing page describes our planned plans and may change before launch.
Using the software
Once released, SideSense Pro is licensed to you for your own use, personal or professional. You can install it on the machines you use for interview practice and meetings. You can't resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app to build a competing product.
Coach mode is interview practice. It's built and marketed for preparation, not for live assistance during an actual interview. How you use it is your responsibility, including any disclosure obligations toward interviewers, students, or meeting participants in your jurisdiction.
Bring-your-own-key and managed AI credits
If you connect your own API key (Claude, GPT, OpenRouter, or similar), any usage costs from that provider are between you and them. We don't mark up or bill for tokens you send with your own key.
On plans that include managed AI credits, those credits are for reasonable personal use within the plan and reset on your billing cycle. We may ask you to switch to your own key if usage looks automated or resold.
Billing, cancellation, and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as described on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and doesn't delete the data already stored on your own machine, since we never held a copy of it.
If a new paid plan isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it, no interrogation. This applies to the first purchase of a plan; renewals of a plan you've already used aren't covered. We'll confirm the final refund terms with you before billing ever begins.
No warranty
SideSense Pro is provided as is. AI-generated answers, scores, and feedback can be wrong, and you're responsible for how you use them, especially in a real interview or meeting. We're not liable for decisions made based on the app's output.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product moves from pre-release to launch. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
